[ Law had come to Kiichpan specifically to visit Gladio's training center and bring him a few things, but of course he can't take a trip to see him without seeing all of them! and of course he brought them things too, payment Ignis specifically asked him not to worry about and more ingredients besides, and any interesting gadgets he's found at the markets for Prompto to tinker with. (and none for Noctis Wieners, BYE.) he's doing much better physically, deeply scarred but with his left arm out of its sling, and his leg... well, still broken, but he gets around just fine gingerly limping on it and finding things to lean against as often as possible.
he's got one more thing on his agenda before he takes off back home, though, and while there's no need for privacy or anything, he still waits until he's got Prompto by himself to ask. first chance he gets to segue the conversation he goes for it as not-awkwardly as possible. ]

I told him about your camera, and he said he'd like to keep a picture of me, so I was thinking maybe I could make him a necklace with one...? Do you think you could take a picture for me? [It's been...real nice having Law around. The guy is always a good time, and they still get along like a house on fire. And it's nice that Law gets along with all his friends too, because that's super important as far as Prompto is concerned. Besides, anyone his friends like has gotta be good people.
But it hasn't been a lot of time they've had alone to hang out, and Prompto is still worried about his physical state, so it's nice to have some time alone so he can hopefully get Law to relax a little bit.]

Yeah, I mean, candid shots of people making faces and stuff are great, but if we're going for a locket and a birthday gift, a portrait is probably better. Even if the whole candid and dumb face thing are probably more you.

[ that gets a laugh out of him, and it's a testament to how far he's come on his nerves that he doesn't get all flustered and self-conscious about that the way he might've when he was new to hanging around with Prompto. not that he doesn't still get flustered and self-conscious just fine from time to time, but he's starting to get much more comfortable around him, and the others too. making new friends is something he does naturally, being the open and generally gregarious sort that he is, but most of the people he became friends with in life were matters of circumstance. he never really had to get to know someone the normal way, because fate just threw them together and said have at it.

Friendship isn't something that really comes easily to Prompto. Maybe that's one of the reasons he admires Law so much, because he's so easy to befriend where Prompto himself feels...difficult to make friends with. Sure, he's outgoing and friendly enough, but there's all these barriers inside of him, this worry he's not enough, this feeling like he'll never meet expectations. That he's wrong somehow. Law doesn't seem to have any of that going on, and Prompto's honestly a little envious.]

I think you'd stand out against some vegetation or something, as long as there wasn't a lot of, you know, flowers and stuff. Just greenery.
